A Proud Moment for Rourkela !

Sri Aurobindo's Rourkela School , One of the well known Divinely School of Rourkela.

Sri Aurobindo's Rourkela School is located in Sector 5, Rourkela, Odisha, India. It is a senior secondary school established in 1973. It operates under the auspices of Sri Aurobindo Yoga Mandir, an ashram based inside the school premises. The school educates up to twelfth grade (class XII). The school name “Sri Aurobindo’s Rourkela School, Rourkela” was established according to The Mother's(Of Pondicherry) handwritten name.

The school started as a Study Circle in a single room in the Ispat Library on August 15,1961, with the blessing of the Mother. Since then, the organization experienced strong growth, becoming a registered spiritual organization in 1969. An executive committee of eleven members managed the affairs and developed the organization with a view to spread the message and teachings of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother. The Relics of Sri Aurobindo were installed on April 13th, 1988, on the premises of Yoga Mandir.

And one of the gem of School "Mrs .Bandana Mohanty" has been awarded "A Gold Medal" along with cash prize of Rs 2000/- and a certification of Sangeeeta Ratna Upadhi 2017 , held at Kolkata on February 26th. Her Institution was very proud and all the newspapers has covered the entire matter of her achievement .
When asked about her achievement : She entirely dedicated her achievement for the school's fame. Such a sweet lady she is . Rourkela Circle is yet to take up the interview .

A Little More about her:
She has been working at Sri Aurobindo's Rourkela School since last 25 years and has served & represented the school at many big events . Her interest and passion on Music and an unconditional dedication towards Sri Aurobindo & The Mother has let her reach such a wonderful stage of her life .
